3/27/2021 -5/1/2021 | Hall of Flame Museum hosts the World Trade Center 9.11 Exhibit! The Hall of Flame Museum of Firefighting, the world's largest museum of firefighting history, will host a display of a model of the World Trade Center, painstakingly crafted by young artist Dane Van Der Steijn of Deurne, The Netherlands, in Gallery III of the Museum from Saturday, March 27 to Saturday, May 1st of 2021. The exhibit, sponsored by Honor365, commemorates the 20th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks. Founded in 1961 in Wisconsin, the Hall of Flame has been part of the Phoenix-area scene since the early ‘70s. Our exhibits cover the history of firefighting worldwide from the 1700s to contemporary times; we have an established history of honoring fallen firefighters, and of 9/11 remembrance in particular, conducting an annual Roll Call ceremony and exhibiting a 9/11 memorial, as well as FDNY Rescue 4, which responded to the World Trade Center attacks. more info... |
